Langkawi-Day 1

Flying by Malaysia Airline from Changi Airport, Singapore to Langkawi Island off Kedah Malaysia, Langkawi, was one of my many trips to the islands around Southeast Asia. My girlfriend (Jamie) has always wanted to visit Langkawi and now her dream finally comes true.



Our flight time at 6.35pm, which was late enough was further delayed by another 45mins. Finally, we manage to board the plane by 7.20pm. During the trip, we make friends with 1 Indian couple. The male half of the couple from India (I suppose) was kind enough to offer me some herbs which he claimed to be very useful in fighting off travel sickness. Out of politness, I obliged and swallowed down the few little bits of 'stones'. They taste abit weird but nevertheless, it is a nice gesture from a fellow travellers.



The flight lasted 1hr 25min and finally we touched down on Langkawi airport at 8.45pm.



We were received by a chinese tour guide who fetch us and another family from Singapore to our resting place at Langkawi Berjaya Beach and Spa Resort.



Finally we got our keys to Room 4116 which was situated at the furthest corner of the resort with tress and deep forestation surrounding our chalet.



A quick bath was followed by some irritating stomach rumbling and we decided to sooth it by calling for Room serivces.



After unpacking our barang barang, it is already pass 12 midnight and we decided to turn in so as to be ready for the sightseeing the next morning.
